Projects

Examples of our accomplishments for a sustainable planet:
  • Worked with a German automotive company to establish and evaluate its utility related GHG emissions associated with facility operations at its North American sites.
  • Developed and demonstrated the U.S. EPA (EPA) prototype life cycle assessment database for "green building" design.
  • Worked with a international integrated product manufacturer to develop a product stewardship program that integrated life-cycle considerations and environmental regulations into product design
  • Patented innovative groundwater treatment strategies that save energy and other resources (multiple clients).
  • Numerous international activities regarding climate change, including preparation and review of several chapters of "Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks," the official U.S. government publication under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
  • Developed waste-to-energy projects for municipal solid waste landfills (multiple clients).
  • Assisting the United Nations Development Programme with the development of a training manual and workshop for non-annex 1 countries to complete their national greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventories.
  • Successfully managed multiple projects for the EPA to develop emission factors, inventories, and national and global estimates of methane and other GHG emissions from industrial and domestic wastewater treatment, animal waste, and landfill facilities.
