ARCADIS managed the design and construction of a $12 million Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The project included new immediate and final settling basins, a plant SCADA system and modifications to the chlorine contact facilities for the Kline's Island 40 mgd WWTP. Upgrades included grit chambers, primary settling tanks, first-stage trickling filters, intermediate settling tanks, second-stage trickling filters, final settling tanks and chlorination facilities. Thickeners, anaerobic digesters, and belt filter presses provide sludge treatment, dewatering, and handling.
