Valley Metro Light Rail — Consulting Support Services

Valley Metro Light Rail (METRO) awarded ARCADIS a three-year consulting support services contract, valued at an estimated $8 million, to support capital improvement projects aimed at expanding the existing light rail system in metropolitan Phoenix.
ARCADIS provides METRO with services for this ongoing project spanning 20 disciplines, including:
- Construction management
- Quality assurance
- Environmental consulting
- Claims avoidance
- Project controls
- Traffic engineering
- Civil engineering cost estimating
- Architectural services
In addition, METRO has initiated seven task orders for the Mesa Extension project for project controls, safety and security certification, quality assurance, real estate management support, right-of-way (ROW) surveying and environmental assessment services.
ARCADIS previously provided pre-construction, construction management and inspections assistance for METRO's light rail project in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Glendale.
